We held our second Committee meeting of 2024 at the hall in the usual time slot of 7PM on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. 

Attendees: Sam S (Chair), Con (Treasurer), Todd (Group Leader), Karen (Assistant Treasurer)

Highlights:

Agreement and final preparation including accounting statements for the upcoming Annual Report Presentation were discussed.

Status update on hall safety/approval for overnight use and ultimately rental provided by Todd, including fire safety and upgrade to the fire escape doors being scheduled with Region.

Treasurer noted that due to a number of repairs and enhancements to the facilities at the hall over the previous years current balance declining year on year. 

Fund raising discussion, proposal to hold a dedicated Fund Raising meeting for all to attend.
